Jaimee Jimin Park is a Los Angeles based composer whose nearly life-long connection with music has led her to believe that music composition is something she was born to do.
Jaimee has established a widespread and dynamic career in the field of music for media that has captured audience attention internationally. She has collaborated with filmmakers and musicians in LA. Most recently, she is one of 10 composers to be accepted on a privileged panel to present during the Marche du Films 2023, which is run by the Cannes Film Festival. She has been working with Pete Anthony (Orchestrator for Tenet (2020), Fantastic Beasts (2022), Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022) etc.) and working as a freelance orchestrator (for Frozen Planet II, The Prehistoric Planet II and etc.) at Fine Line Music Service. In addition to her film scores, she has also led her musical endeavors into game music for Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure (2023) and commercial music for a McDonald’s radio advertisement (McDrive, 2017) broadcast in South Korea. Aside from her fruitful career in media composition, Jaimee has also been recognized for her work in the concert world, winning second place in the South Korean Contemporary Music Society Competition.
Jaimee completed her Master of Music degree at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program in Seattle. Jaimee has a Bachelor of (Contemporary) Music degree at Seoul National University.
